Learn to Ride Program | Lower Mountain Lesson
The Angel Fire Resort Learn to Ride program is the ideal way to experience mountain biking in a first-timer-friendly environment. The lesson is taught utilizing the Dreamcatcher carpet lift, riders will be able to see the entire trails that they will ride from the top of the lift. Lessons are taught by professional mountain bike instructors and the lessons focus on basic bike operation including balancing, braking, and cornering.
This program focuses on riders of all ages that have very little to no mountain bike experience and are looking for a friendly and safe environment to first engage with the sport. Whether you ride around your neighborhood or as a commute, this lesson is the best way for you to learn the basic skills of mountain biking with an introduction to Bike Park skills and terrain.
This lesson is offered for students 7 years old and up. Must know how to use hand brakes as primary bike stopping method.
Lesson times: 9 am-10:45 am and 11 am-12:45 pm, weather permitting.
The lesson Package Includes a Standard Bike, Protective Gear, a lower Mountain Lift Ticket, and 1.75 hours of instruction.

Bike Park 101
This program is for riders with some experience in mountain biking or who are proficient at other kinds of riding like BMX, Road Biking, XC, etc. In this lesson, you will learn everything you need to know to have fun riding our Bike Park. Dive into more gravity-oriented skills like proper brake use, body position, cornering, technical terrain, chairlift loading, and more. All while enjoying everything our whole mountain has to offer.
This lesson is offered for students 10 years old and up. Riders should be an experienced Road Biker, BMX Rider, or Cross Country Rider; OR have done trail riding in areas with dirt, gravel, rocks, roots, etc.
Lesson times: 9 am-12 pm, weather permitting.
The lesson Package Includes a standard bike rental, protective gear, Lesson Lift Ticket, and 3 hours of instruction

Private Lessons
Angel Fire Bike Park offers private lesson experiences for all levels of riders. Are you looking to learn how to ride Bike Park for the first time? Are you an experienced rider looking to take on some of our toughest terrain and need to improve your skills? Our highly qualified instructors will teach you everything you need to know under the PMBIA methods and techniques for a safe and fun learning experience.
This lesson is offered for students 6 years old and up. Must know how to use hand brakes as primary bike stopping method.
Lesson times: 9 am-12 pm, weather permitting.

Kid's Clinic
The Kids Downhill Clinic is back for 2024 and we are ready to kick off a summer full of fun and learning for the young ones in the family.
This clinic is for riders 7-12 years old, ranging from beginner to advanced levels, looking to learn new skills or improve their current riding level.
Schedule 9 AM-12 PM. Students should be checked in at the front of the Bike Shop by 8:30 AM
Clinic Dates June 19, July 10, August 7
Requirements:
Must know how to use hand brakes as main stopping method. Ages 7-12 years old.
Ideal for:
Kids that are comfortable riding bikes but want to learn about mountain biking or improve their current MTB and DH skills.
We highly recommend bringing a backpack (no drawstring bags or cinch sacks) with water, snacks, and a rain jacket or similar.
Flat-sole shoes are recommended. Gloves and eye protection are not provided.
This Clinic includes 3 hours of teaching, bike rental, helmet, armor, and BK-All Day Ticket.

Ladies Clinic
This clinic is only for ladies. Women 16 and up are welcome to join a group of riders that is looking to connect and learn together as they share their own experiences riding bikes. For beginner to advanced riders, this clinic will be mostly taught by women unless the demand requires more instructors that may be males.
Schedule 9 AM-12 PM. Students should be checked in at the front of the Bike Shop by 8:30 AM
Clinic Dates June 15
Requirements:
Must know how to use hand brakes as main stopping method.
Ideal for:
Women 16 and up looking to learn how to mountain bike for the first time to those wanting to improve their cornering, technical terrain, jumps, drops, etc.
This Clinic includes 3 hours of teaching, access to 30% off Bike Rental when signed up for the clinic, and access to Discounted Lesson Ticket.

Dudes Clinic
This clinic is only for dudes. Men 16 and up are welcome to join a group of riders that is looking to connect and learn together as they share their own experiences riding bikes. For beginner to advanced riders, this clinic will be mostly taught by men unless the demand requires more instructors that may be females.
