About Angel Fire Resort

Angel Fire Resort began in 1966, as a small ski destination in Northern New Mexico. We are proud to have grown into a four-season resort offering a memorable Rocky Mountain experience for families, outdoor enthusiasts and groups.

The resort is located 8,600-feet above sea level in the Southern Rockies and has views of  Wheeler Peak, the highest point in New Mexico.

In winter, visitors can enjoy:

Here, one of our snowcat operators, @tuckervanormer is driving up and down Exhibition to "trackpack" the snow. This compresses the snow and increases the density and strength, which creates a great base for more to accumulate over the season. This storm 🌨️ is still here and still dropping snow! We're at 40" ❄️ so far from this early season weather cycle.
