Similar to the standard equipment lesson, this snowboard lesson utilizes traditional snowboarding equipment to cater to those guests with visual, auditory, and cognitive disabilities, as well as those with some muscle weakness or impaired function in their extremities. Our instructors have an array of devices to help assist their student with control, and are up-to-date on the best techniques to adapt lessons to each student’s specific disability. Please take note, these lessons do require the student to be able to stand and move independently for the most part, and may not be the best choice for those with more severe disabilities.
