The New Angel Fire Golf & Country Club Opens May 21, 2010!
Situated at 8,600’ elevation, with views oriented north towards Mt. Wheeler--the tallest peak in New Mexico--the new clubhouse provides state-of-the-art golf and membership amenities, and showcases environmentally friendly engineering together with alpine-inspired architecture and design. It is the perfect complement to the resort’s 18-Hole PGA Championship golf course.
The many features of the new Angel Fire Resort Golf & Country Club include a full-service golf shop with an on-staff PGA pro instructor; indoor and outdoor meeting and event space; a modern fitness center with yoga room; a private wine room with storage for over 2000 bottles; an upscale fine dining restaurant, Stonewood; an elegant and lively bar, Elements; a downstairs “Par & Grill” Café offering lighter-fare and patio dining; the 5,200 sq. ft. Grand Hall for large meetings and events; an indoor swimming pool, well appointed men’s and women’s locker rooms, concierge services and more.
Angel Fire Resort continues to hold its status as the top mountain biking destination in New Mexico. World class events including the UCI World Cup, Collegiate National Championships and Mountain States Cup have resulted in now legendary downhill and cross-country trails, and perhaps one of the best 4-cross courses in the country. The mountain has plenty of switchback tree trails, rolling cruisers and wide, scenic vistas for the novice rider as well.
The Lodge at Angel Fire Resort has undergone remodel efforts to upgrade its exterior, common areas, fitness center, restaurants, retail and coffee shop. To keep the business traveler connected during their stay, we've also added free wi-fi service in the lobby and common areas. The Lodge is open 365 days a year.
